 Dear community, Starting Wednesday, December 7th until December 22th, you can play the new Dionysia event for the first time. We haven't had a winter season event in Grepolis in a long time and players have been asking for one. Here it is! The ancient Attic Greek festival, later known as the "rural" or "minor" Dionysia, was celebrated shortly after the winter solstice in the second half of the Greek month of Poseidoneia, spanning December and January. It is a great festival in honor of the god Dionysus.  In this event you prepare the processions for this festival. Since the different Greek cities held their festivals on different days, spectators could attend more than one festival per season. It was also an opportunity for Athenian citizens to travel outside the city when they did not have the opportunity during the rest of the year. The mechanics of the event are based on the Pandora's Box, so it will be pretty familiar to you. But we have changed the mission design. For each mission you will have to consider 3 requirements. For each of them you will need different types of new special units. Read the units' tooltips to learn more about their abilities. You now have full control to win missions and you can also set your own goals, which is more important to you: winning the mission, shortening the mission duration, or earning leaderboard points.
